BTR Series Evaporator Coils
A comfortable work environment is critical to
increase and to maintain high productivity. The Malnar BTR evaporator coil
is engineered to provide a comfortable and draft-free work environment.
The BTR coil is designed with narrow profile to fit into tight locations
where either the width of the coil or the available headroom is a concern.
The aluminum and fibreglass construction makes the BTR coil lighter for
easier installations using less structural steel support than galvanized
coils would require.
The Malnar BTR works with natural circulation
patterns to speed uniform cooling while conserving energy. The coil draws
warm air up from underneath and cold air is distributed out the sides.
Using natural convection, the air drops to the floor, forcing warmer air
back to the coil. This allows the use of low-velocity, low-noise fans to
provide proper air flow quietly and comfortably.
Like all Malnar products, BTR coils are professionally-engineered
and painstakingly constructed to the most demanding specifications.

Materials used are USDA approved and carefully
selected for optimum operating efficiency and durability.

Coils are constructed from 5/8" aluminum alloy
tubing and are tested under water at 450 psig air pressure.

Tubing meets the ASME code SB-234 standard
and features our helically-wound aluminum alloy fin stock applied from
3 to 8 fins per inch.

Frame, Cap and all structural components are
crafted in lightweight aluminum alloy.

Drain Pan is insulated and fabricated in tough,
sparkling-white fibreglass.

Motors are direct drive, permanent split capacitor,
totally enclosed air-over, ball bearing, single phase, fractional horse
power, and thermally protected.
